Get to know your coaches better with our Q&A section:

Where is your favorite place to play tennis in Hong Kong? What makes this place special? Centre court Victoria Park – it’s a nice stadium surrounded by high rises which make you appreciate Hong Kong.

If you could play on any court with any player, where and who would it be with? And why? Centre court Wimbledon with Tim Henman – because it’s my favorite tournament and it’s who I associate Wimbledon with.

Your current favorite tennis player? Andy Murray – he’s British and is a pretty funny guy off court.

Your favorite player of all time and why? Marat Safin – great player and very entertaining to watch.

Why do you make a great tennis coach? Because I am passionate about what I do, I have a desire to improve the way that my clients play tennis and have the experience and knowledge to achieve this. I am very patient with people and although I have a desire for their tennis to improve, I understand that some people pick it up faster than others and perseverance.

When teaching your students, which shot is your specialty? Topspin forehand

What is your favorite tennis mantra? Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try Again. Fail again. Fail better.
