Player background: Jon is originally from Australia, where he began playing tennis at an early age and became a highly ranked junior player before pursuing a career as a Tennis coaching professional. He has over 15 years of coaching experience and is a fully qualified ‘Advanced Level 2 Tennis Coach’ through Tennis Australia.Through coaching and management positions he has gained a wide range of experience working in clubs and performance coaching programs in the UK & Singapore before settling in Hong Kong in 2011.
Before joining the ATA team Jon was the Tennis Director at Hong Kong Parkview for 8 years.
His passion lies in helping students to become well rounded players by encompassing the technical, tactical, physical & mental aspects of the game. He specialises in developing children and adults of all ages from beginners through to competition level.
